DIY Tights

After seeing several bloggers rocking their homemade embellished tights, such as here and here, I become inspired to try it myself. I went and picked up a few pairs of inexpensive tights, lace strips, bows and beads to experiment with. These tights turned out to be surprisingly easy to make as long as you have the time. I found the best way is to wear the tights while you sew, and once you have finished the front side, put the tights on backwards to sew the back. I chose to go with a non-symmetrical look by randomly placing the lace flowers on the tights. I'm working on my third pair now and I will post pictures of pairs 2 and 3 soon!
