Mustard and Sequins


Dress: Dex, sequin blazer: Matty M, boots: Frye, tights: Urban Outfitters, necklace: Topshop, wool cap: ? (my grandma bought it at a small boutique somewhere).

One of my favourite colours this season is mustard yellow. I love how it adds a nice pop of colour to an otherwise neutral coloured outfit. I actually received this mustard wool cap from my grandma for my birthday last year, but at the time I didn't think I was bold enough to pull off wearing such a strong colour. I rediscovered the cap in my closet recently and have worn it several times already this fall.

    The sequin blazer is fantastic!

    And I just adore your hat. Sure, it stands out. But since it's a mustard yellow, it almost acts like a neutral.

    I have such a penchant for all-over-sequined pieces, and this blazer is no exception! I love it. The color is gorgeous and it's so chic -- perfect to pair with absolutely anything to add a bit of sparkle. And you look absolutely adorable!
