Casual Saturday

Hoodie: Alternative Apparel, skirt: Heritage 1981, tights: Hue, boots: Arizona, belt: Charlotte Russe, tee: LaMade, necklace: homemade.

This Saturday I decided to wear this suede skirt in a super casual way. I threw on a white t-shirt, my most comfortable hoodie, tights and biker boots to complete the look. I like the contrast between the suede skirt and the casualness of the hoodie.

I spent the weekend practicing yoga, cleaning my house, relaxing and spending time with family. How did you spend your weekend?

Red Beret

Beret: Topshop, blouse: H&M, denim leggings: Lauren Conrad for Kohl's, boots: Wanted.

I ordered this cute bow beret from Topshop last month and I've worn it numerous times already. On this occasion I decided to pair it with a leopard blouse, denim leggings, and biker boots. The result was a tough and rugged look with a touch of femininity.

Biker Chick

Jeans: DIY, jacket: People's Liberation, t-shirt: Target, boots: ? (old).

Here is another pair of my DIY jeans. These jeans were originally grey and I bleached them in the bathtub, intentionally going for an uneven dye job. Once they were dry, I cut and ripped holes of various sizes. The result was a slouchy destroyed look.

Feline Fun

Coat: Joe Fresh, skirt: Gap (old), t-shirt: Cat Empire concert t, tights: Urban Outfitters, boots: ? (old), sunglasses: RayBan, belt: ? (from music festival kiosk).

I picked up this awesome faux leopard coat back in September, and finally the weather is cold enough now to wear it. It's super comfy and instantly adds a touch of polish to any outfit. I threw it on last night to balance out an otherwise rough and tough outfit.

Back in Rotation

Skirt: Gap (old), boots: ? (old), tights: Urban Outfitters, blouse: Target (old), blazer: Silence and Noise, necklace: ? (old), sunglasses: RayBan.

I've decided to make a conscious effort to stick to a budget (it's so hard!) and find new ways to rotate older pieces back into my wardrobe. This skirt, blouse and boots are all 3-4 years old and I had never worn them together before. I added a boyfriend blazer, opaque tights and wayfarers to create a brand new look with old pieces!
