Lately I've been experimenting with cutting, shredding and dyeing jeans. I was inspired by a pair of Current Elliott shredded jeans and figured I could make a similar pair for a fraction of the price. I picked up a cheap pair of jeans at Winners for this experiment, but you could use any pair in your closet that you feel comfortable destroying. I cut small slits close to the side seams and then cut across to the other side of the leg. I made the length of the cuts the same each time but varied the space I left between each cut so didn't look too symmetrical. I then washed the jeans to fray them a bit and voila - rocker chick pants!
