I'm definitely loving shift dresses this season. They are just so comfortable and look great with opaque tights and flats. The best part is that they are forgiving when you've eaten a big dinner! I picked up this cute lime dress on Hautelook for a steal of $17! It was the perfect dress to wear to a work function on Friday night.

As I mentioned here I've been trying to incorporate more muted, soft colours into my wardrobe. I realized that I have a tendency to gravitate toward prints and bright colours, but after seeing other bloggers rocking outfits in shades of peach, soft pink and cream, I've decided to give it a try.

I couldn't be happier with this Topshop ruffle shift dress. I find it to be really comfortable and figure-flattering at the same time, and the tiered ruffles make it so feminine. I'm definitely going to be looking for more dresses in this shape for fall.

I Want it Now: Fall Cravings

I've done a fair bit of fall shopping already and checked a few trendy items off my wish list including a sequin blazer, a faux leopard coat, an olive green military jacket, chunky wedges and a faux leather biker jacket. However, my "list" never quite seems to end. Here are a few of the items I've been drooling over this week. I'm especially loving the wool fedora and the leather shift dress (not that I can justify the price, but I can always dream, right?)
