This weekend I had a chance to take my new sequin skirt out for a spin. When I put it on I realized that a black sequin skirt can make quite a statement on its own, so I decided to dress it down with a plain white t-shirt. I threw on some diy tights that I made back in the fall and some black booties to complete the look. I grabbed a boho fringe bag and a cute pink necklace to inject a little fun into the outfit.

Earlier this fall I was lucky enough to win my first giveaway on Natasha's blog 'Twenty- Something'. I got a chance over the holidays to go online to Charlotte Russe's website and put my gift card to good use. I fell for this pretty polka dot blouse; it's just so flowy and feminine. Last night I went out to take some pictures with my new tripod for the second time. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. Next time I will make sure that I set up in a better position in relation to the sun.
